Details

Defatted soybean meal is usually made from defatted soybean flour. The fat content is generally less than 1.0%, and the protein content is higher than 50%.

The Non GMO Defatted soya flour is obtain from Soya bean seeds by processing it through various stages of cracking, de-hulling, flaking, extracting, desolventizing, and grinding it in a pneumatic mill, to requisite particle size, to get a fine powder of creamy yellow color.


Application

Defatted soybean powder has different uses due to different production methods. One is degreasing, after high temperature, can be used as animal feed directly. The other is low-temperature desolventized meal, which can be used as raw material of various soybean food due to its high water-soluble protein. Defatted soybean powder contains high lysine and sugar. Adding it to baked food can not only increase protein content, but also reduce sugar during baking, making the skin of food golden and soft. In addition, the addition of defatted soybean powder, due to the role of lipoprotein, can make bread white. Adding soybean flour into bread can prolong storage time, increase volume and improve palatability due to its strong water absorption capacity. Therefore, defatted soybean powder can not only be used as raw material of soybean milk powder, concentrated protein, isolated protein and tissue protein, but also as an ingredient of bread, meat products, beverage and infant food
